A cooking class with Giusina: between memory, ingredients, and the scent of the island

There is a gesture passed down in silence, from hands kneading dough to stories scented with home.

This experience is born from that very place: the heart of Sicily, where cooking is a ritual, a tale, and a sense of belonging.

Guided by Giusina, a beloved TV personality of Sicilian culinary tradition, we will explore the secrets of handmade pasta, following ancient customs, between storytelling and technique, passion and simplicity.

Two symbolic pasta shapes will take form:

  • Busiate, hand-rolled and served with Trapanese pesto
  • Lunette filled with ricotta, lemon, and mint – delicate and fragrant

At the end of the class, we’ll gather around a shared table to enjoy the dishes prepared, accompanied by a glass of wine: a moment of true conviviality, where food becomes memory, dialogue, and celebration.

In a setting where time seems to slow down, Mangia’s Torre del Barone Resort & SPA hosts this special event, suspended between sea, land, and tradition.
