The experience begins at the private helipad with a welcome drink and an introductory briefing with the pilot. After takeoff, the helicopter heads towards the northern slopes of Mount Etna, flying over the territories of Piedimonte Etneo and Linguaglossa, where centuries-old forests, vineyards, and ancient lava flows shape the landscape.

As the helicopter gradually gains altitude, the scenery transforms into the lunar landscapes that characterize Europe’s highest active volcano. Flying over Piano Provenzana and the famous Bottoniera Craters, formed during the 2002 eruption, the flight reaches the summit area of Mount Etna. From approximately 3,500 meters above sea level, the view extends across Eastern Sicily, the Aeolian Islands, and the Calabrian coastline.

The journey continues along the southern slopes, crossing the spectacular Valle del Bove, one of the largest volcanic amphitheaters in Europe, and the striking Silvestri Craters. From here, the panorama opens onto the Gulf of Catania and the Ionian Sea.

Leaving the volcano behind, the helicopter follows the coastline towards Giardini Naxos and the beautiful town of Taormina. From above, admire the famous Greek Theatre, Isola Bella, Capo Taormina, Castelmola, and the elegant bays that have made this destination one of the most beloved locations in the Mediterranean.
